This is the recording of a keynote given at the Enhancing Practice 14 (practice development in healthcare) conference, Toronto, September 2014.

Although the talk is being given to healthcare workers and healhtcare academics, the general principles outlined here also apply to culture change to counter violence and harm in any other intensely institutionalised or corporate professional context - business, finance, politics, institutional religion, the film industry, the music industry, education - or in the face of cultural challenges such as gun control, violence against women, violence against children, or conflict transformation.
